Zach Anderson
Owner and Certified Elder Law Attorney
Estate planning used to be about planning for death, dividing your assets (usually to your spouse or children, equally), and filling out some basic forms.
But we’re all living longer than we ever have. Long-term care costs have never been higher. We have more blended families now than ever before. And there are more opportunities to plan for children and adults with special needs than ever before.
Traditional estate planning doesn’t stack up anymore. After spending too much time complaining about it, Zach decided to do better for clients, and he founded Valley Estate & Elder Law in 2023.
Zach is one of 5 Certified Elder Law Attorneys in the state of Alabama, having passed the National Elder Law Foundation’s rigorous certification exam in 2024.
Zach is a summa cum laude graduate of Mississippi State University, a cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law, and a proud graduate of Huntsville High school. He and his wife, Shelby, live in Jones Valley near his childhood home.

Clay is a graduate of Faulkner University and of Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. He will be taking the upcoming Alabama Bar Exam. Clay’s hometown is Fort Walton Beach, Florida but has deep family ties to here in Huntsville. He has chosen to plant roots here in the valley where his family is from.

Barbara Turner
Intake Specialist
Barbara helps our callers get the help they need – whether it is with our firm, or somewhere else in the community. As our Intake Specialist, she walks clients through the process of becoming a client and paves the way for a great client experience by preparing them for their first appointment. Her 25 years of experience in the medical field and her deep knowledge of Medicare provide a useful trove of knowledge for our clients and their families.
When she’s not helping clients, you can find Barbara knocking down pins at the bowling alley or enjoying quality time with her family and friends. She’s happily married and calls Huntsville home, where she and her husband love exploring the local scene.

Judith Baker
Judith helps clients by walking with them side-by-side through the probate process and drafting estate planning and trust funding documents.
Judith is a seasoned paralegal with a distinguished 25+ year career in management, operations, finance, and sales. Her background spans key positions such as Legal Assistant, Bookkeeper, Business Owner/Partner, and Sales Coordinator.
Outside of the office, you can find Judith spending time with her family, gardening, and cooking.
